Park

Danforth Park School opened in 1922 and was located on the north side of Lumsden Avenue between Gledhill and Oak Park Avenues on what is today's D. A. Morrison schoolyard. The school became Oak Park Junior High School in 1952 and was demolished in 1977 when D. A. Morrison school opened.
There is a plaque in the front hallway of D. A. Morrison honouring the Danforth Park students who died in World War II.
